Electricity and Telecommunications [Teaching pack] (1991)
In 1988 The National Curriculum was introduced in primary and secondary schools in England and Wales. Following this, British Telecom Education Service produced teaching aids to support parts of the new science and engineering curriculum. The 1991 pack, Electricity and Telecommunications supported GSCE curriculum in physics and electronics, and was intended as a resource for teachers delivering lessons to 13-16 year olds. The section on the telephone included a test for school pupils about the evolution of the telephone, and an activity asking them to rank the functions of a modern electronic telephone.
