BT Phonecard BT63 Student Plus (1992)
British Telecom started to produce promotional cards, alongside special edition phonecards, in 1987. This phonecard, promoting the National Westminster bank’s Student Plus account, shows prepayment cards were used in wider corporate promotional activity that could target specific groups of payphone users. National Westminster bank offered Student Plus accounts between 1990 and 1993 to customers entering full-time Higher Education for the first time.
